What Sintra Synergies clarified about AI, marketing, and where we are heading

Last week in Sintra, I joined a small group of leaders to explore a question that is quickly becoming central for every organization. What does marketing look like in an AI first world, and how should companies evolve in response?

The discussions were practical and grounded. It is clear we are no longer only marketing to people, we are increasingly influencing the systems that guide their decisions. AI is moving into the decision layer, shaping visibility, filtering options, and determining which brands are seen and considered. This fundamentally changes how we approach marketing.

Visibility is no longer just about content creation. It is about how your business is structured and understood by machines. At the same time, we discussed that trust still wins. Strong brands with clear positioning and credibility continue to outperform, and in many cases override what AI recommends.

Another key takeaway was speed. The gap is not access to AI, but the ability to apply it effectively. Organisations that integrate AI into real workflows and decision making will move faster, learn faster, and stay relevant. Those that are slowed down by legacy structures will struggle to keep up.

This connects directly to how we are evolving at BluePanda. The traditional time and materials model is losing relevance. Providing people alone is no longer enough in a market that is shifting towards outcomes. Clients are looking for integrated solutions that strategically combine CRM, AI, and marketing into one coherent approach, and need a strong implementation partner.

Our focus is therefore clear. Simplifying our brand structure, sharpening our positioning, and building a stronger, solution led model across Europe that delivers real impact.

GEO, AI, and the Future of Global Marketing

Web Summit 2025 made one thing clear: Artificial Intelligence is reshaping how brands are discovered, how teams operate, and how companies scale. In the middle of this transformation, BluePanda had the opportunity to join the conversation.

Our CEO, Jo Smets, was invited to appear on Web3 CMO Stories, recorded live from the event with host Joeri Billast. The discussion focused on three themes that are redefining modern marketing: GEO, practical AI, and nearshoring.

One of the central ideas explored was the shift from traditional SEO to Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). As AI systems increasingly become the entry point for information, brands must ensure that their content is structured, credible, and consistent enough to be recognized and surfaced by these models. GEO represents the next evolution of digital visibility.
